Sustainable Development Goals 2030 were adopted by UN and are intended to be universal in the sense of embodying a universally shared common global vision of progress towards a safe, just and sustainable space for all human beings to thrive on the planet. The Goals and targets will stimulate action over the next fifteen years in areas of critical importance for humanity and the planet. There are still big challenges. Innovation will play a very important role involving new technology and science on this agenda. In addition, we urgently need to promote the collaboration and dialogue on how to make an effective strategy to this future vision with well understanding and agreement.
This is an all-common task including policy makers, scientists and civil society; especially for the young generation who needs to be ready to take on arduous duty. The Belt and Road Silk Initiative could be a good platform for scientists from Latin American and China to promote innovation in priority areas. Specially, those linked to:  SDG 9 - Build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation-; SDG 7 - Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy; SDG 17 - Revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development; SDG 13 - Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts; among others such as SDG 4, SDG 5.
