Dr. WU Chili is a Research Associate, Research Assistant Professor, Division Manager of Green Building and Environment Division, and Center Manager of Building Energy Research Center, at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a member of the All-China Youth Federation and Chinese Association of Youth Scientists and Technologists.
Dr. Wu received his master degree in Intelligent Building Technology and Management, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008 and 2012 respectively, and completed his postdoctoral program in 2016. After PhD graduation, he works as a center manager of the Building Energy Research Center in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In 2014, Dr. Wu was promoted to the Division Manager of Green Building and Environment, and responsible for managing four research platforms, including Building Energy Research Center, Wastewater Technology Laboratory, Atmospheric Research Center, and Ocean Dynamics and Modeling Program.
His research interests are in the area of utilization of renewable energy, energy-saving technologies and building environment. His works focus on applied research and technology industrialization. He has published 26 journal and conference papers and obtained 31 patents.
